Watchdog is very pleased to announce the completion of the new company headquarters for GeoBlue, an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. For the past 20 years, GeoBlue has been dedicated to simplifying the international healthcare experience for the globally mobile, providing insurance and services to help expatriates, travelers and students access and pay for quality healthcare anywhere in the world.
The new 110,550 square feet company headquarters is located at 933 First Avenue in King of Prussia, PA. The building features a full-service fitness center, complete with locker rooms and a private yoga/meditation space; an open-concept floor plan with collaboration spaces on each floor; multiple options for private meeting spaces; advanced audio-visual capabilities throughout the building; café areas on every level, as well as a full-service café and town hall space on the first floor.
Committed to the health and wellness of its members and employees, GeoBlue kept this in mind when designing its new building. The building design and finishes are clean, sharp and modern, creating an open, airy space conducive to collaboration and engagement. From the large fitness center, featuring an array of cardio and weight-lifting machines and free weights, to the healthy food options in the café, to the open-floor plan and glass building envelope which lets sunlight flood the interior of the building, to the various options for work settings throughout the building, the people-centric design was meant to create a space where employees would feel happy, engaged and empowered in their work environment.
GeoBlue engaged Watchdog early in their relocation decision. Our project management team was involved during lease negotiations to ensure that base building specs provided by landlord Brandywine Realty Trust would accommodate the needs of our client. “GeoBlue really valued the services that Watchdog provided. Watchdog ensured that our project stayed on our target schedule and budget and helped us navigate through some roadblocks that could have otherwise caused delays. More than that, we enjoyed working with the entire Watchdog team. The effort was truly collaborative and we knew that Watchdog was invested in our success.” – John Shanley, GeoBlue.
GeoBlue has been a fantastic client and we are so pleased to see the project wrapping up with such great results.
