Combined Office and Museum Space

American Bible Society is a non-profit organization that strives to make the bible available and alive around the world. The organization actively seeks to change the landscape of bible engagement in the U.S. and around the world by partnering with church leaders, advocating for the bible, and equipping ministries with resources.

In 2015, American Bible Society decided to consolidate its offices in New York City and Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania and relocate to a brand-new headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. American Bible Society hired Watchdog Real Estate Project Management as their owner’s representatives during the consolidation, fit-out, and relocation processes. Connections and sightlines were important aspects of the space design.

The organization installed a Bible Discovery Center on the first floor of their space, where they display rare artifacts for public viewing. This space is not only open to the public, but it is also used as an event and meeting space. The focal point of this area is the intercommunicating stair, connecting the ground floor to the museum area above. Watchdog assisted American Bible Society in fitting out all museum-type spaces within their office. Our team facilitated in the procurement of all signage and encasement fixtures. Watchdog provided a full scope of project management services throughout the entire tenant fit-out and physical move.
