Watchdog was engaged by IFMA for their new headquarters facility. IFMA wanted to create not just a headquarters but a Center of Excellence where they would be able to conduct research to facilitate and develop facilities planning strategies. Watchdog was hired to help with the project management aspect of their Center of Excellence in Houston, Texas.

Watchdog initiated IFMA’s project in the early stages by participating in site selection and lease negotiation. From there we developed and established weekly project meetings to discuss action items and incorporated our schedule with the selected General Contractor’s schedule for a smooth transition of all activities. Watchdog was actively involved with value engineering exercises to assist IFMA in creating the workplace they envisioned while maintaining their budget. Towards the end of the project Watchdog managed the move process, supported furniture decommissioning tasks and tracked the completion of punch list activities.
