Watchdog was contracted to manage the turnkey fit-out of New Century Bank’s corporate headquarters due to a substantial cost variance between actual cost vs. budgeted cost. When Watchdog was contracted, the lease was signed, the budget was established and the construction was underway. During this time, New Century was presented with nearly $300,000 of change orders to properly adjust the budget of the project. Watchdog was engaged to represent New Century during negotiations with the landlord in order to resolve the differences in costs and deliver the project.
As a result of our success, New Century Bank sought Watchdog’s services to manage the construction of a new retail branch location.
