Fort Washington Holiday Inn Express Renovation

Within 10 months the Fort Washington Holiday Inn Express & Suites has opened for business; following a 12 million dollar renovation project. The hotel was originally built in 1975 and went under new ownership in Feb 2015. The eight floor, 168 guest room hotel went under complete renovations to guest rooms, lobby, pool and parking lot. The exterior facade was also upgraded with all new windows.

The Montgomery news reported that the owner of Whitemarsh Hotel Associates was “very happy” with the renovations, which were “on time and under budget.”


The hotel is close to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 309 with easy access to local corporate parks. Other amenities the hotel has are:
24-hour fitness center fully equipped with elliptical, treadmills, a rowing machine and free weights.
Outdoor pool
Three meeting rooms
Top of the line wireless system
Lobby has seating for 60 is equipped with eight flat screens and internet ports.
