Project Highlight: GeoBlue and Watchdog
When Watchdog moved GeoBlue out of multiple offices and suites into their new location, it was important that there was no interruption to their call center operations and minimal employee disruption. By working closely with GeoBlue’s project and IT teams, Watchdog ensured the process was streamlined and the sequencing of the phases aligned with business operations.
The new GeoBlue headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania was completed in June 2017. The ground-up, four-story, 110,000 sq. ft. office building can accommodate 450 employees.
From the initial programming through final design development, Watchdog participated in every step. By acting as the owner’s representative, they oversaw the interior fit-out of the building while the core and shell were under construction.
“We were the voice for GeoBlue throughout the entire process,” explained Lauren Erickson, Associate Project Manager.
Watchdog’s involvement allowed the GeoBlue project team to focus on their daily corporate priorities. One of the key roles Watchdog served was the management, procurement, and coordination of many of the vendors.
Praise for Watchdog
“Watchdog had a great team; incredibly detail-oriented and dedicated to ensuring the best possible result for us and the proof is in the pudding. The building was delivered almost to the day they said it would be, and below budget which is almost unheard of. Watchdog was subtle in their opinions. They didn’t shove anything down our throat, but we turned to them a lot of times and asked them what they thought. They were great.” Andrew Conn, GeoBlue Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel.
“We were very lucky to find in Watchdog a phenomenal project manager who was able to manage the entirety of a complicated construction and design process, and select the right vendors to make a beautiful outcome.”
Guillaume Deybach, GeoBlue President and Chief Executive Officer
