Last year, the General Building Contractor Association (GBCA) honored the winners of the 20th Annual Construction Excellence Awards. This program recognizes the highest quality of workmanship and building innovation in the Philadelphia area. The program honors commercial contractors and the companies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the commercial construction industry.
We are proud to say that our client, Nasdaq, won the 2017 award for Best Fit-Out Project. Nasdaq took 75,000 square feet at FMC tower, 2929 Walnut Street. Their space achieved Platinum Level LEED ID+C Certification, the highest level of LEED certification offered by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
Watchdog worked closely with Nasdaq and the building developer, Brandywine Realty Trust, to ensure that all critical components of Nasdaq’s space, including a customer data center (CDC), intercommunicating staircase and cafe areas, were delivered according to Nasdaq’s expectations and priorities.
Any project of this size and caliber is a collaborative effort. Nasdaq drove the vision for this project, seeking to create a cutting-edge space that supports their business needs. This project was implemented by experts across the industry. It was truly a collaborative effort and the final product was one that the client is proud to call their new home. As owner’s representatives, we can’t ask for much more than that!
Congratulations to Nasdaq and all project team consultants on a job well done!
