Philadelphia, PA, May 28, 2019– Watchdog Real Estate Project Management, a leading real estate owner’s representative and project management firm, announces the promotion of Natalie Malawey-Ednie, RA, LEED AP, MBA to Principal.
In her new role, Natalie will be active in advancing the company’s national footprint. Malawey-Ednie will actively develop business throughout the country and provide strategic direction for the company’s future growth and expansion. As Principal, Malawey-Ednie will continue to provide visionary leadership both internally and externally as she implements Watchdog’s mission to confidently deliver projects on time, on budget while protecting the interests of our clients.
This is a well-deserved promotion. Since joining Watchdog in 2016, Natalie has led some of Watchdog’s largest and most complex projects, including Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House’s 153,000 square foot expansion, Nasdaq’s 75,000 square foot fit out in the FMC Tower, and a confidential client’s 280,000 square foot headquarters fit out and relocation. However, she also drives for excellence no matter the project size and has provided oversight and guidance for multiple projects for clients like Philadelphia FIGHT and Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School.
Watchdog’s leadership is confident in Natalie’s continued success. “Natalie exemplifies Watchdog’s core values in everything that she does. With true authenticity, Natalie lives by Watchdog’s mission to guard and protect against waste and undesirable practices. Natalie’s promotion has been well earned. I am excited to see her continue to grow and set an example for the future of Watchdog,” says Stephen Fean, President.
Natalie leads with a dedication that her clients recognize and trust. Her attention to detail is second to none and her commitment to excellence elevates her client’s success, as well as Watchdog’s standards for quality. She has also been responsible for recruiting top talent to Watchdog, developing our employees and bringing in substantial new business.
“Our unique company culture is what drew me to Watchdog and is what I believe to be our major strength and differentiator. The environment, the policies and overall attitude is developed to support and empower our people. This approach results in an incredibly passionate team of people willing to go over and above to put our clients first and ensure successful projects. Each of our project managers truly care. I am incredibly proud to be part of this amazing team and excited to continue to support the expansion of our market share and cultural values,” says Malawey-Ednie.
Natalie is a registered architect, LEED AP professional, Six Sigma-Green Belt and earned her MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. More than her credentials, she works tirelessly on behalf of her clients and is dedicated to the development of her team members. Outside of the office, she is active in her community in South Philadelphia and is the mother of three young children and a partner to her husband, Geoff. Watchdog is proud to have Natalie as part of our team and we celebrate her continued success.
