Last week, Watchdog Real Estate Project Managers celebrated hard work, teamwork and warm weather during our annual summer outing. This certainly was an outing as the Amazing Chase had us running, walking and biking all over the city. The Amazing Chase is a scavenger hunt that uses a mobile app to send you on a digital hunt. Fun intellectual riddles and physical challenges had us running from Rittenhouse Square, to Logan Square, to Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown and finally to Spruce Street Harbor Park.
The Amazing Chase is a takeoff of “The Amazing Race.” We were divided into teams and used our app to access clues that led us through a variety of challenges throughout the city. The challenges were all surprises- one challenge required us to take a photo of the Chinatown Friendship Gate….with our backs on the sidewalk and feet in the air. We then had to run (some of us literally ran) to Walnut Street Theater where as a team, we had to sing the lyrics to “End of the Road” by Philly’s pride and joy, Boyz II Men.
Check out some of our pictures chronicling our fun (and hot!) day with the Watchdog Real Estate Project Managers team.
Challenge #3- get your whole team in a selfie in front of the famous Reading Terminal Market sign. (No, the clues were not that straightforward!).
