Uber, the car app that is estimated to be worth over 50 billion, will be relocating its Long Island City offices this year. Uber will lease and build out 20,000 square feet on the second floor of the Falchi Building making it one of Uber’s largest offices. The mixed-use Falchi building is also the home of the Taxi and Limousine Commission which is convenient for those drivers looking to secure their Chauffeur’s license.
Uber is headquartered in San Francisco, California and operates in 58 countries and 300 cities worldwide. Founded in 2012, Uber has expanded rapidly and has faced criticism by taxi companies and government officials because of its unique business model.
