Watchdog is proud to announce that Pete Kilty earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification last week. Pete has been with Watchdog since 2014 and quickly became an integral part of the project management team. He leads many high-profile projects and travels to client sites in locations all over the country. Pete is a leader at Watchdog and are happy to add another PMP to our team.
The Project Management Professional certification is the gold standard of project management certification. It validates your ability to perform the role of project manager and to lead projects and teams to a successful delivery. The PMP certification is recognized and demanded all over the world. However, the PMP certification is a rare achievement; there are fewer than 1 million PMP certified individuals in the world.
The certification requires that you have at least 45,000 hours of experience in Project Management. Candidates must also attend at least 35 hours of classroom training in order to qualify for the exam. The PMP qualifying exam is a 200 question multiple choice that takes, on average, 3-4 hours to complete. In order to pass, you must answer at least 60% of the questions correctly.
Congratulations to Pete on achieving your PMP certification!
