Watchdog helped protect the historic 178,000 SF landmark in downtown Baltimore while project managing the construction of a modern state-of-the-art health facility.
Chase Brexton Health Care is a not-for-profit that first opened its doors in 1978. At the time Chase Brexton was operated and supported by a group of volunteers who provided healthcare services within its local communities. Since then, Chase Brexton has grown significantly in size as well as the services it offers and patients it sees.
Watchdog was hired by Chase Brexton Health Care to help consolidate multiple locations and move to the iconic Monumental Life building in the historic section of Downtown Baltimore. The building consists of four contiguous buildings built between 1925 and 1968, and totaled 178,000 square feet. Our team helped protect the historic landmark in the heart of the Mount Vernon Historic District while creating an updated infrastructure. Watchdog managed the design and construction of a new state-of-the-art clinic, board rooms, meeting space, and administrative space. Watchdog also participated and supported Chase Brexton during vendor procurement, contract negotiations, furniture installation and relocation management.
