The Community College of Philadelphia has been home to over half a million students since 1965. The College serves a diverse population of students, from recent high school graduates starting here on their path to a bachelor’s degree, to adults looking to change careers.

CCP turned to Watchdog when they were faced with a lack of manpower to handle ongoing and upcoming projects. CCP engaged Watchdog to manage all facets of their on-campus real estate and construction projects. These projects are fast-paced and varied. Watchdog has completed classroom renovations, full building renovations, theater renovations and an on-campus green house.

For several reasons, multi-prime construction is CCP’s preference for many of their projects. Watchdog manages all contracts on behalf of the owner, allocating responsibilities to each contractor and subcontractor and managing all progress. This method allows CCP to have greater influence on the selection of contractors and subs. It requires effective communication from Watchdog to ensure a cohesive project team and high-quality output.

Watchdog handles all aspects of design and construction including permitting, vendor procurement, construction administration, and more. Watchdog continues to support CCP as their campus continues to grow.
