Cozen O’Connor has widely recognized national practices in litigation, corporate, intellectual property, real estate and labor & employment and extensive experience in a variety of practice areas. Cozen O’Connor’s Philadelphia office serves as the firm’s headquarters. The firm was founded in Philadelphia in 1970 and has grown substantially over the years. As they approached their lease expiration date for the nationwide headquarters, Cozen engaged Watchdog to oversee the relocation to their new space.
Our team was engaged during the programming phase of design as an architect was already on board. We immediately got to work, hand-in-hand with both the architectural and Cozen team, to develop a comprehensive project budget and schedule. We used these deliverables to serve as a benchmark for all project vendors through project close-out.
Our project managers wrote and distributed an RFP for the General Contractor, leveled all bids, and delivered a written recommendation to the client as to who we thought was the best fit for the project. We did the same exercise with all owner-direct purchase vendors such as AV, signage & branding, and FF&E.
Our team was on-site at both the existing and new location to oversee the move over multiple days.
