Watchdog was engaged by Elementis to manage the construction of their 70,000 SF Global Headquarters facility in East Windsor, New Jersey. Following construction, Watchdog managed the relocation of their office, laboratory, and pilot plant from the current facility in Hightstown to the new state of the art facility in East Windsor.
During construction, Watchdog maintained the project schedule and budget, making sure to keep control of both for Elementis and oversaw all quality control issues. We also facilitated a modified site plan approval through a planning board hearing, and managed a relationship with the Mayor of East Windsor (site of the new facility) to building a harmonious work environment on the construction site. Watchdog also developed a laboratory equipment list and facilitated a process engineering study of the pilot plant and laboratory. All construction and move vendors were procured through Watchdog, and there was competitive bidding for all vendor contracts.
