Early on in the project it became apparent to me that we made the right choice when we selected you and your company. Every step of the way, you and Caitlyn provided us with valuable intelligence to make the right decision concerning whatever the issue might be. I cannot tell you how many times over the past month I have heard our employees say how fantastic our new space is and how seamless the move was…I truly believe that without your oversight and commitment to our best interests, there would have been much more pain throughout this project. You made my job so much easier.
Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman and Goggin (MDWCG) is a defense litigation firm, handling high-profile and complex cases, including class actions and mass tort matters. MDWCG boasts eighteen offices throughout the eastern United States.
When the decision was made to relocate their Philadelphia headquarters, and the over 350 personnel that came with it, MDWCG hired Watchdog to manage the effort and to act as their owners rep. Watchdog assisted in the site selection process, oversaw the schedule for the construction of 130,000 SF and managed the physical relocation of the firm.
After Watchdog completed analysis of many different spaces, MDWCG decided that 2000 Market Street would be their new home. As the owners rep. we worked with their internal project team to develop a comprehensive project budget and schedule, which was crucial to project process. All invoicing and change orders were submitted through Watchdog, so we could monitor the costs and control them. We also sent out bids to a variety of different vendors that would be needed, and then leveled the bids to make sure they were competitive. Once all internal construction was done on MDWCG’s new space, we provided move management support to relocate them to the new space and successfully closed out the project.
