Nexon is a Korean-Japanese video game publisher that specializes in online games for PC and mobile. Watchdog is managing projects for the gaming company in El Segundo, CA and Koreatown, CA. Nexon’s new headquarters is located in a roughly 50,000 square foot industrial, creative space in El Segundo, CA. The space features a backyard, patios, streaming rooms, editing suites, creative collaboration areas, huddle rooms, phone rooms, and a 15,000 square-foot gaming area.
When creating their space, it was important to Nexon that their space be unique. They wanted a custom design, finishes and furniture to create a specific look. The selected space has a warehouse-type feel with polished flooring and exposed ceilings. Nexon was particularly concerned with their furniture selections. The space needed to be functional yet unique. Traditional corporate furnishings would not align with their vision. Watchdog coordinated an extensive effort to select unique furnishings including work stations, office and conference room furniture, and lounge seating for gaming and network streaming areas.
Watchdog provided a full scope of project management services for both of Nexon’s California based office relocations.
