Watchdog was hired by The American College to oversee the renovation of their Bryn Mawr, PA campus. The project consisted of multiple phases including the renovation and consolidation of multiple floors of office space and the consolidation of departments from multiple buildings.
The renovation included construction of a a high-end, multi-purpose audio-visual conference and reception room, as well as HVAC and electrical system upgrades to their main production studio and control room. The project required a full replacement of the existing cooling tower with a new pad mounted air-cooled chiller. Adding an emergency generator to back up the full building was an important requirement for the college. The new generator was procured by the Watchdog project team, who also oversaw the implementation and testing of the generator. Additional upgrades included specific elevators and the respective machine rooms.
