Positive Change

We strive to align every project with our core values of community, authenticity, integrity, empowerment, entrepreneurship, and passion. Our dedication to community includes a commitment to equitable development that is crucial to the fostering of positive changes in communities.

We are grateful to the William Penn Foundation’s recent announcement that we are a recipient of a newly approved Literacy Rich Environment grant. The William Penn Foundation awarded Watchdog the grant to incorporate playful learning into two Philadelphia affordable housing sites and promote playful learning in design and development.

Heidi Segall Levy, AIA, SEED was instrumental in the award of The William Penn Foundation grant. Heidi has dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector and has led over 800 community design grant and development projects.

Heidi, along with our team of Project Managers, has shared their expertise with our nonprofit clients including many national and local organizations like:

  • Mt. Airy CDC
  • Called to Serve CDC
  • Zion Baptist Church
  • Belmont Alliance Civic Association
  • Share Food Program
  • Sanctuary Village
  • Strawberry Mansion CDC
  • Kaboom
  • Playful Learning Landscapes Action Network
  • Concern for Kids
  • Citylight Church

Watchdog can help achieve your goals by expanding the capacity of your nonprofit staff so that you can continue to focus on your organization’s mission while our team focuses on your capital project.  Additionally, Heidi, along with Charles Hardesty, Director of the Watchdog Real Estate & Capital Markets Advisory Service team can assist nonprofits in navigating the sometimes complex process of funding. We can help develop a detailed project plan and identify your funding needs.  We can share our expertise in researching and grant writing and present alternative funding models. Let Heidi, Charles, and the Watchdog team be your resource for nonprofit capital projects
